Halifax film maker and artist Aven Fisher has had his films screened around the world and has won several international awards.
His animated characters Herbert, the chameleon (seen above) and Bruno have touched the hearts of many - their stories told throuugh stop motion animation techniques.
Aven presented his films to festival audience on Saturday, April 12th at 11:30am at Empire Theatres Studio 7.

Expressions is a showcase of film, video, animation and video games created by Nova Scotia youth.
EXPRESSIONS is pleased to announce that the Lunenburg County Film Series is the Official Sponsor for the Film and Animation Competitions
If you live in Nova Scotia and are under the age of 19, you can submit any original film or animation you have created (under 5 minutes in length) or any video game you have designed. Navigate to your area of interest for complete competition details and submission forms.
Along with the youth showcase the festival will feature a selection of films and videos games created for youth and family audiences. Many of these films and video games are produced on Nova Scotia's South Shore.
This event is youth driven with backing from sponsors that include Artech Studios, Empire Theatres Studio 7 and others in the community. On the planning committees are artists, authors, filmmakers and game designers - young and old. Have a look at our sponsors' and volunteers' pages to see how you can help support this event.
